point in Western Visayas with its newly launched Healthcare Express Mobile Clinic.

Officially launched on April 29 at Festive Walk Parade in Iloilo Business Park in

Mandurriao District, the TMC Iloilo’s Healthcare Express Mobile Clinic promises to

provide reliable, convenient, and accessible diagnostic and consultation services to

different communities and corporate partners across Western Visayas.

Equipped with laboratory and diagnostic facilities, TMC Iloilo Healthcare Express Mobile

Clinic provides communities and corporate partners access to medical consultations, laboratory, ultrasound, drug test, x-ray, and ECG, among others without going to the hospital as these can be done on-site. Thus, this is considered as the most advanced and comprehensive mobile clinic service in the region.

 Every year, Filipinos look forward to the summer season to unwind and visit world-renowned beaches around the country to beat the heat.May it be with friends or family, every Juan should have a comfortable air travel experience.

As many people tick off their travel bucket lists at this time of the year, here are a few reminders from Cebu Pacific to make air travel much easier this summer season:

1. Be at the airport on time

Cebu Pacific and Cebgo passengers must allot time for traffic going to the airport. Passengers must be at the airport at least two (2) hours before departure for domestic flights, and three (3) hours for international flights. Passengers traveling to Dubai can check in as early as seven (7) hours before departure.

2. Check in online

Long lines may be avoided at the airport by checking in via the official CEB mobile app or via the Manage Booking section of the CEB website. Both options are available from 48 hours up to one (1) hour before scheduled time of departure for domestic flights, and up to four (4) hours before scheduled departure for international fliers.

Passengers who checked-in online and do not have checked-in baggage may enter through Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 Gate 1 and go straight to the boarding gates. They only need to show their digital boarding pass to enter.

3. Check flight information, closing times 

Check-in counters close 45 minutes before the scheduled time of departure for domestic flights and one (1) hour for international flights to ensure there is ample time for all necessary pre-flight procedures.Passengers who arrive after the check-in counters close will no longer be allowed to board their flights.

After checking in, passengers are encouraged to immediately go through immigration and final security to avoid delays. Boarding commences 45 minutes before the scheduled departure.

4. Accomplish eTravel Forms

For a smooth experience at the immigration counters, passengers traveling internationally are encouraged to register or update their eTravel forms within 72 hours or three (3) days before departure from and arrival to the Philippines, then save the QR code generated at the end of the form.

For round-trip international flights, passengers are required to accomplish the eTravel form twice --- once for the departure flight, and again for the arrival flight.

eTravel forms can be accomplished by accessing www.etravel.gov.ph.

5. Pack your bags accordingly

Passengers may board the flight with one (1) carry-on bag that fits in the overhead bin and one (1) personal item like a purse, small backpack, or laptop bag that fits under the seat in front. Both bags must not exceed 7kg in weight. Bags that are not within the allowable size or weight will be intercepted and charged at the boarding gate. 

6. Checked baggage policy 

Passengers are encouraged to purchase prepaid baggage online via the CEB website or mobile app to save on fees. CEB has recently enhanced its baggage policy where passengers may now avail up to three (3) pieces of 20kg baggage.  

For every piece of baggage purchased, passengers may also add an extra 4kg, 8kg, or 12kg weight allowance on top of the initial 20kg. 

Passengers can save on fees if they pre-purchase baggage allowance or extra bags online, which is up to 4x cheaper than airport charges. 

Customers may buy the prepaid bags as they book their flights or add additional baggage allowance via the Manage Booking portal of the CEB website or mobile using their MyCebuPacific accounts up to two (2) hours before departure.

7. Self-tag luggage for select domestic destinations 

Guests flying out of select domestic destinations (Manila, Davao, Clark, Cagayan de Oro, General Santos, Bohol, Iloilo, Siargao, and Zamboanga) are reminded to self-tag their check-in luggage at the designated kiosks at the airport, prior to proceeding to counters for bag drops. 

8. Check the airport terminal assignment of your flight 

Passengers must check their itineraries and boarding passes before proceeding to their designated airport terminal. Cebu Pacific’s 5J flights arrive at and depart from the NAIA Terminal 3, while Cebgo (DG) flights to and from Manila operate from the NAIA Terminal 4 at Domestic Road, Pasay City.

Hi! Life has been a whirlwind lately. As an entrepreneur diving headfirst into the world of owning a business, the days seem to blend together in a blur of activity. Amidst the chaos, I found myself missing something—my blog.

Blogging used to be my solace, my creative outlet where I could share my thoughts, experiences, and updates with the world. But as the demands of entrepreneurship took over, my blog became a distant memory, buried under piles of paperwork and endless to-do lists.

However, amidst the hustle and bustle of running a business, I realized that neglecting my blog meant neglecting a part of myself. So, I decided to reclaim that part of me and reignite my passion for writing.

As I sat down to pen this post, I couldn’t help but reflect on how much has changed since I last poured my thoughts onto the digital page. Becoming an entrepreneur has been both exhilarating and challenging, filled with highs and lows that I never could have anticipated.

Perhaps one of these days I’ll share  all the businesses that I’ve ventured through the years LOL. Some still exists while some failed 😅 but recenty I opened a bookshop it’s a dream come true for me. Books have always held a special place in my heart, and being able to share that passion with others through my own business has been incredibly fulfilling. From curating the perfect selection of titles to creating cozy reading nooks, every aspect of running a bookshop has been a labor of love.

Despite the hectic schedule and endless to-do lists, I’ve realized the importance of making time for the things that bring me joy. And for me, that means reconnecting with my blog and the community of readers who have supported me from the very beginning.

So, here’s to rediscovering the joy of blogging amidst the chaos of entrepreneurship. Life may be busy, but I’m determined to carve out space for the things that matter most—like sharing my journey with all of you.

The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry-Iloilo Chapter, Inc. (PCCI-Iloilo) hosted Iloilo Business Week 2023 on October 14-20.

Now on its second year, the Iloilo Business Week 2023 will be underscored with a series of events and activities that will showcase the flourishing business sector and economic opportunities in the City and Province of Iloilo.

The Iloilo Business Week will kick-off with the Department of Trade and Industry Iloilo’s Artesanias de Iloilo at SM City Iloilo on October 14-15. This trade fair features local crafts and flavors of Ilonggo MSMEs.

PCCI-Iloilo is putting the spotlight to local entrepreneurs with the launching of Businesserye and Ilonggo Entrepreneur Awards 2023 on October 16. Businesserye is an online series that features the inspiring success stories of Ilonggo MSMEs. Meanwhile, the Ilonggo Entrepreneur Awards is intended to honor outstanding Ilonggo entrepreneurs.

As part of its advocacy in teaching aspiring entrepreneurs skills that they can use in starting up their own business, PCCI-Iloilo is organizing Hope in a Cup: Coffee Latte Art Training for the Out of School Youth on October 17.

In a bid to bridge business owners and make business collaborations possible, PCCI-Iloilo will organize a Virtual Business-to-Business Session under its flagship program, PCCI-Iloilo Connect on October 17.

PCCI-Iloilo is also partnering with One Iloilo, Inc. for theopening of the Iloilo Festival Fair 2023, a trade fair the showcases the best of various municipalities on October 18 atFestive Walk Iloilo. 

The highlight of the Iloilo Business week 2023 will happen on October 19 with What’s Up Western Visayas, a business conference that will feature powerhouse speakers who will be tackling topics related to emerging business trends, useful business strategies, and economic opportunities. The said event will be held at Courtyard by Marriott Iloilo.

The week-long event will be capped with simultaneous business trainings and workshops by Local Economic Development and Investment Promotion (LEDIP) Centers of Iloilo City and Province on October 20. PCCI-Iloilo will also host Grand General Membership Meeting on the same day.

“After the successful Iloilo Business Week last year, we are making this year’s celebration grander and more meaningful for the Ilonggo entrepreneurs by adding events that will not only teach them new business concepts and skills but will also give them the venue to showcase their products,” PCCI-Iloilo President Fulbert Woo noted. 

On his part, Iloilo Business Week Co-Chairman and PCCI-Iloilo Board of Director for Marketing and Health, Prince Juliene Hermaine Celo highlighted that the Iloilo Business Week does not only promote Iloilo as an investment destination. It also boosts economic activities by inspiring the Ilonggos to develop their entrepreneurial skills.

“The Iloilo Business Week is an opportunity for us in PCCI-Iloilo to inspire our fellow Ilonggos to become more innovative and inclusive when it comes to their business. We hope that through this week-long celebration, we can further make Iloilo an investment capital of Western Visayas,” Celo added
